About the Author

Jill Leech created the Potty Tots characters and story to help her youngest daughter with potty training. It all started with an illustrated potty chart to show her what was expected of her. (six steps of potty training). From there Jill created an entire program to help toddlers be more independent, build confidence and self esteem in this first little task in taking care of themselves. (this kit also available on Amazon.com includes the book, animated DVD with music videos, illustrated potty chart and fun football inspired reward game with clings called The Toilet Bowl)

Review

The Potty Tots are a group of adorable toddlers. Emily and Enrique are the central characters. The story starts out with their little brother/sister feeling nervous about the first day of preschool ans worried about using the potty. Emily and Enrique then share their story of their own experience in Miss Maggie's class. The book is delightfully illustrated, easy to read with short, simple sentences and words that a toddler can not only understand but also use. Potty training is a HUGE milestone for a toddler. They are scared, nervous and anxious. The last thing they need is to feel rushed, forced or worse, incompetent. Potty Tots makes the whole process easy to follow and fun to do. It also boosts a preschooler's self esteem and independence. --Prerna, the momwrites.com
