Anthony Silard is the CEO of The Executive Leadership Institute and the President of The Center for Social Leadership. Silard is a leadership development coach who specializes in facilitating and presenting at leadership conferences for corporate and organizational executives. Silard is the author of Full Alignment: A Practical Guide to Transforming Your Life Vision into Action, scheduled for released on June 1, 2009. Silard was named a Visionary of the Year in 2002 by The Visionaries, a public-service television show.
He has been featured in a 30-minute PBS documentary that has aired on television stations in over 40 U.S. states and various film festivals. Prior to starting The Executive Leadership Institute and The Center for Social Leadership, Tony founded and served for 8 years as CEO of an international organization based in Washington D.C. with offices in five countries for which Silard raised over $15 million and managed a team of 35 people.
Thousands of corporate and organizational executives from over 40 countries and companies ranging from Disney, FTI, GE, Gallup, Bank of America and IBM to the American Red Cross and CARE have attended Silard s multi-day leadership conferences. Silard completed his Master's in Public Policy with a focus on Leadership at Harvard University and his B.A. at UC/Berkeley. He also served for two years in the Peace Corps in Kenya.
