Biblical Freedom from Religious Oppression uses the messages that resonate throughout the Bible to free Christians from strict, man-made, religious rules, beliefs and practices that add to human misery. It teaches Christians to be more like Jesus, who opposed oppressive religious practices, and to be less like Jesus opponents, the Pharisees, who created and enforced them. The book reveals this freedom by means of the Every-Verse Method of Bible study, which examines every Bible verse that addresses each of the following issues: Christian Freedom, Creationism, Fasting, Alcohol Consumption, Non-Christian Friendships, Sexual Thought, Divorce & Re-Marriage, Christian Politic Power, Oppression of the Poor, Religious Arrogance, Judgmentalism, and more. In each instance, this book demonstrates how the teachings of most Bible-believing churches conflict with the Bible s teachings, oppressing people whom the Bible seeks to free.

K. Scott Schaeffer has spent over 4,000 hours of his adult life studying the Bible and its background. Since 1990, he has lived in Tennessee, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and has been active in the Southern Baptist church, the Presbyterian Church of America, the Bible Fellowship Church, the Assemblies of God Church, the Non-Denominational Church, and the Methodist Church. Also, he earned a bachelor s degree from Belmont University, a Southern Baptist college, in 1993. Scott has witnessed varying degrees of religious oppression in most of these institutions and, unlike most pastors, is free from loyalty to the theologies of these and other denominations. He now devotes himself to exposing the differences between biblical teaching and church tradition. Scott now lives in Audubon, NJ, just across the river from south Philadelphia.
