L. M. Ruttkay is an artist in the action sports industry. Since 1983, she has worked with dozens of surf and skate brands. The book, "RV the Racer Aardvark," mirrors this culture with its plethora of imaginary extreme sports.
 
"RV the Racer Aardvark" is inspired by a paper mache sculpture used for an early 1990's skateboard graphic created by Mike Hill of Alien Workshop.
 
L. M. Ruttkay is a Character Education Specialist certified by the University of San Diego Character Development Center.
