About the Author

Sheri Ritchlin, Ph.D., has studied and written extensively on the I Ching and its relationship to the emerging cosmology of 21st-Century Western thought. After working with Richard Tarnas, Brian Swimme and other leading figures in the field of the participatory worldview, she recently completed her scholarly book The Return of the Sage: A 21st-Century Cosmology Meets the Way of Heaven and Earth in the I Ching. She has also published in Parabola Magazine and IONS Review, and, after years of living in Mexico and researching Native American spirituality, is completing work on Quincunx: Quetzalcoatl As Initiate in Ancient Mexico.
