About the Author

Dion Farquhar was born in 1947 and can hardly believe the numbers. A poet, fiction writer, and intellectual whom love catapulted to Santa Cruz where she lives with her partner and their twin teenage sons, she still misses the old country of Manhattan especially her friends, family, and off-off Broadway theatre. Recent poems in moria, The Dirty Napkin, of(f) course, BlazeVOX, Shifter, etc. Her chapbook, Cleaving, won first prize at Poets Corner Press in 2007. Formed by the Sixties but repudiating nothing, she is incredulous at the country s split and still believes that the question of why so many people collaborate against their own interests remains central and unanswered.
