About the Author:
Richard Worringham was born and raised in South Africa. He was ordained as an elder in the Methodist Church of South Africa where he served several churches including missions to the Colored and Indian people. Richard Worringham also served as a prison chaplain in the Durban Central Prison. After studying broadcast film arts at SMU he returned to South Africa where he was appointed as a producer in the SABC-TV network, headquartered in Johannesburg. After the Soweto Riots in 1976, he emigrated to the USA where he taught Media Studies at ISU and Radford University. Dr. Worringham now lives in Virginia with his wife Shannon.
