Review:
I began using Book I of Keyboard Beginnings with my grandson last year. I keep him after school and his grandfather is a musician. I have some background in music but am limited. My grandson, Will, is 6 and he really enjoyed and did well in the first keyboard book. The CD and lesson plans really helped get us started. He completed the first book and moved on to the second book which he also completed. We are getting ready to start Book III in Keyboard Beginnings. Will is a bright student and the lessons are challenging but yet not too difficult so that he feels good about what he is learning. The lessons are easy for me to help him with and I would recommend it for anyone wanting to give a young child a good beginning on the keyboard. Also, I have found Judy to be encouraging and helpful anytime I have questions. --Will's Grama
