About the Author

Harry Marvin, Jr. received his B.M (MusEd) from Berklee College of Music and a M.M (Applied Percussion) from Boston University. His former teachers include: Alan Dawson (Berklee), Paul Price (Manhattan School of Music), Fred Buda (Boston Pops), Arthur Press (Boston Symphony) and Tom Gauger (Bosotn Symphony). He has written articles for both PERCUSSIVE NOTES and MODERN DRUMMER.
