Synopsis

Color Your Way Out of Survival Mode

You're exhausted. Not just tired—soul-deep exhausted.

You've been holding it together for everyone else. Showing up. Performing strength. Smiling through the burnout. Saying "I'm fine" when you're really screaming inside.

You've climbed every ladder, shattered every ceiling, checked every box. And somehow, with all that success stacked around you, you still feel empty. Alone. Like you're drowning in a life that looks perfect on paper but feels hollow at 3am.

This journal sees you, Sis.

The S.O.U.L. Recovery Coloring Journal isn't just a coloring book.

This is your permission slip to finally put down the cape that's been choking you.

This is over 60 pages of culturally-affirming healing art and soul-deep prompts designed specifically for high-achieving Black women who are done performing and ready to start healing.

Every page is an act of rebellion against the lie that your worth is in your work and your value is in your sacrifice.

Inside, you'll journey through the revolutionary S.O.U.L. Journey System:

SURRENDER - Release the cape. Stop performing strength for five minutes. Create the sacred pause that allows you to finally exhale.

OWN YOUR TRUTH - Acknowledge the real cost of your success. That the view from the top is lonely. That you want to be held more than you want to be promoted. Say it out loud.

UNMASK - Take off the mask you wear to survive in spaces that weren't built for you. Stop code-switching your way through life. Let them see your real face—tired, human, beautiful.

LIVE IN ALIGNMENT - Build a life that feels as good at 3am as it looks on LinkedIn. Where success and serenity coexist.

What makes this journal different?

This isn't generic wellness content. This is for the woman who has achieved everything society told her to achieve and realized that success without peace is just expensive misery.

This is for the Director, VP, entrepreneur, or executive who is tired of being everyone's "strong friend" and ready to finally be soft.

This is for you—the woman who's been screaming in a silent panic room, surrounded by all the trophies of success but none of the feelings of happiness.

This journal is your first step toward the soft life you've been too scared to imagine.

Every page you color is you choosing yourself. Every prompt you answer is you reclaiming your truth.

About the Author

I could list my certifications and degrees, but that's not my story. That's just my résumé.
My real story? I'm the woman who chose to live when dying felt easier.

I lost my mama at four. No memories, just nightmares. By twelve, I was everybody's helper, trying to heal my wounds through other people's pain. In my twenties, I caught a charge that wasn't mine, went to jail, and rose anyway because that wasn't my ending—it was God redirecting my path.

But the real breaking point came later. I woke up depressed, morbidly obese, overwhelmed. My soul was so tired I couldn't cry right. I'd built success on the outside—the degrees, corporate career, businesses—but inside? I was dying. Slowly. Silently.

That's when I heard it: Change or die.
So I changed. Not overnight. Not perfectly. But deliberately.

Today, Wake Up Happy Sis isn't just my business—it's my ministry. Through our retreats, The Wake Up Happy Sis Show, and a sisterhood that gets it, I help high-achieving Black women stop wearing that Superwoman cape like it's keeping them alive when it's actually choking them to death.

I know that woman crying in parking lots wondering if this is all there is. The one with the title and money but a soul exhausted from pretending she doesn't need rest, support, and permission to be human.

I WAS that woman. Still healing from being her.

My mission: Help 1 million Black women trade survival mode for their soft life. Because that little girl who learned to be strong before she learned to be safe deserves to finally exhale.

If you're reading this while planning seventeen tasks, holding it together for everybody else while falling apart inside—I see you. I've been you.

You don't have to choose between successful and soft. You can drop the cape without dropping the ball.

This is your invitation to stop surviving and start living.
