Exquisite Love is a remarkable book about the Indian devotional tradition, or the Bhakti path, of yoga. It focuses on the Narada Bhakti Sutra, which dates back to the 10th and 11th centuries. The author William K. Mahony, Professor and Chair of the Department of Religion at Davidson College, offers readers guidance into the ways a Heart-centered life can open them evermore fully to the reality of Love itself. In Exquisite Love, Mahony translates and explains 20 key sutras from the larger work. He also includes a translation of the entire text, along with helpful glossaries, charts, and tables. Based on years of yogic practice and his immense scholarly knowledge, he reflects on the path of Bhakti and how this profound spiritual practice can be applied in one s daily life.
