Rolf Torstendahl, Professor Emeritus, Uppsala University, Sweden is a member of the European Academy; the Royal (Swedish) Academy of Philology, History, Archeology; the Norwegian and Russian Academy of Sciences; and author of many publications on systems of politics, administration and professionalism, particularly in Western Europe. Natal'ia Borisovna Selunskaia is a Professor on the faculty of Moscow State University. She is a specialist on historical methodology and author of many publications on modernization, the agricultural system and social-political movements in Russia in the late nineteenth, early twentieth century.
