About the Author

Dave Horton grew up very much like Beaver Cleaver, just a little more twisted. He has been creating cartoons since he was a kid growing up in Illinois. Dave graduated from Illinois State University and won the award for Best College Comic strip. Since then, Dave has been an artist/writer for Hallmark Cards and was accepted into the National Cartoonists Society. Dave currently produces a Florida cartoon called "Hortoons". Dave lives in Ft. Myers, Florida with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys golf, tennis, and jogging on the beach, as long as he isn't grabbed by a giant squid and dragged into the ocean. Dave has many talents besides cartooning. He can juggle, ride a unicycle and has the amazing ability to shake exactly two aspirin out of a bottle. Dave turned 46 this year, but he reads on a 48 year old level.
