About the Author

Businessman, entrepreneur, and community leader Kevin T. McCarney has had millions of encounters with people of all kinds since he opened his first Poquito Más restaurant in 1984. From the beginning, he has worked to create a business that would inspire loyalty from both his customers and his employees. He understands that a business thrives with every great encounter and suffers with every poor one. And he believes that the same is true of every part of life. That first small restaurant has grown into a $15 million-a-year business with twelve locations in the Los Angeles area, including one on the lot of Warner Bros Studios, serving over 4,000 customers every day. Kevin has been a guest speaker at the USC Marshall School of Business, the UCLA Anderson School of Business, and Woodbury University.
