About the Author:
Keith McAslan is a senior business executive with extensive experience in finance and operations for manufacturing, distribution, technology, health care and private equity industries as a CFO, COO, CEO and Managing Director. He has demonstrated success to successfully grow businesses organically, and through acquisitions, and led several turn-arounds for businesses in crisis. Keith was nominated for the Denver Business Journal 2010 CFO of the Year for turning around and selling a domestic manufacturer of hand tools that sold in 90 days for a double digit multiple of EBITDA and saving over 400 jobs in Colorado. Mr. McAslan has worked for Rockwell International, Square D Company, IHS, Inc., Republic Financial Corporation and portfolio companies of private equity firms the Blackstone Group and the Sterling Group. Keith has successfully assisted his private clients as their CFO, COO, CEO, personal business advisor, M&A advisor and arranged favorable debt and equity financing. Keith has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and MBA from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS. His management training includes Strategic Planning at Harvard Business School; The Management Program at Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Business; and Executive French Immersion Program at Dartmouth College and Arles, France. He is a Board Member of the Golf Course Advisory Committee for the City of Aurora and the Visiting Nurse Corporation of Colorado. Keith is a consultant, public speaker and author of the books: Due Diligence Secrets What Every Buyer or Seller of a Business Should Know to Complete Successful Mergers and Acquisitions. Additionally, Keith co-author with Marty Koenig of the book: Business Owner s Handbook The Ultimate Small Business Book Focus on Management of Money and Leadership to Increase Company Value.
