Synopsis
This workbook will help prepare individuals to earn at least a 4 on the WorkKeys Applied Math Assessment. Students will learn the skills needed to apply mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving techniques to work-related problems. Students will also learn the skills needed to set up and solve the types of problems and do the types of calculations that actually occur in the workplace.

About the Author
Alicia Russell-Davis holds a Master’s degree in pure mathematics from Texas A&M University. She has served as an instructor of mathematics at major institutions such as Morgan State University, Loyola College of Maryland, DeVry Online, Central Carolina Technical College, Strayer University, Texas A&M University, and Kaplan University. She has dedicated her life and career to problem solving and to teaching others to be better problem solvers. In addition to instruction, she has worked as an Actuarial Analyst and has written test items for ACT, Inc. to be included on the actual WorkKeys test. This combination of real world experience, instruction and item writing has given the author the expertise necessary to compile this workbook and other related instructional material.
