About the Author:
Barbara Frank is the author of the three books of the Princess Series,Anna of Corotoman, Aggy of Zion, and Ferolene of Tincup, and of aretelling of The Legend of the Three Rings. During her years inacademia, she taught at the J.W. Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Boston University, Howard University and at the Federal City College,now the University of the District of Columbia. She served as a projectofficer in the Africa Bureau and in the Sudano-Sahelian Office of theUnited Nations Development Programme. Barbara lives on a farm inVirginia where bills of sale for slaves found in the attic of a landmark Shenandoah Valley house inspired the completion of slave stories set in Virginia history.
