About the Author

Prior to writing mysteries, Jean Sheldon published a book of poetry and drawings called Jelly Side Down, a handbook on car maintenance, Glovebox Guide to Keeping it on the Road, and co-wrote, with her cat, The Way of the Cat, Teaching Humans to Be. In 2008, she published The Woman in the Wing, a historical mystery involving women pilots (WASP) and riveters in World War II. In 2010, Seven Cities of Greed took a group of 'women of a certain age' on an adventure in New Mexico. Also in 2010, she published the eBook, Mrs. Quigley's Kidnapping with a Chicago female detective circa 1968. In 2011 came Flowers for Her Grave, an old fashion whodunit, and in 2012, An Uncluttered Palette. (Previously titled Monet's Palette) A native Chicagoan, Jean has lived in Illinois, Wisconsin, Colorado, New Mexico, and Oregon, all of which she considers home.
