He learns a lesson from the gentle wise man, Amoo Ali. The illustrations are charming and accurately depict the clothing, the landscape and the traditions of the Persian people.

Mahdi Heidari was born in Iran but left as a child. He has lived in many countries in Europe before moving to Canada. He enjoys art, music and the study of ancient Persian music.
