About the Author

Larry G. Johnson - Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he grew up on a family dairy farm near Owasso.  He received his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Tulsa.  Following two years in the US Army with a tour of duty with the First Infantry Division in Vietnam, he spent his business career as a CEO in banking and CFO of a publicly held company.  He is a recognized author of several books.  His first book, Tar Creek - A History oft he Quapaw Indians, The World's Largest Lead and Zinc Discovery, and the Tar Creek Superfund Site, was a finalist in the Oklahoma Center for the Book's 2010 Non-fiction Book of the Year.  He writes weekly articles on his website culturewarrior.net and speaks about Christianity and the culture to various groups and organizations.His He lives in Owasso with his wife of 44 years.
