About the Author
Recently retired, Marilyn Dye was a reading specialist for the Chula Vista Elementary School District in Chula Vista, California for twenty years. She has taught reading methodology classes and RICAâ ¢ preparation classes for Azusa Pacific University and National University in San Diego. Fifteen years of experience in K-6 classrooms has provided her with practical experience in working with children of all ages in a diverse population. She has been involved with curriculum writing both for the Chula Vista Elementary School District and for National University. She is committed to the development of pre-service teacher preparation in the field of reading instruction.
