About the Author:

I am Dr Yates Julio Canipe. How should one share his background while being entertaining yet enlightening and inspiring at the same time. You are reading about a 69 year old retired business man, who being bored and wanting to engage the next generation walked into the Massey School Business at SOSU early in 2011 after being encouraged by the SE Soccer Club to do so. I began teaching at Southeastern that fall. Credentials include BA in Math and Physics from University of Texas, Austin; MS and PHD in Meteorology from Texas A&M, College Station; MBA from University of California at Dominguez Hills. As a side note, certifications in NLP, Silva Mind Control, Huna, and Holographic Memory Resolution and other studies of the mind serve as a hobby and profitable one. Joining the Air Force at age 17 as a high school dropout led to many promotions and ultimate retirement there from as a Major. The next 30 years I spent running large organizations in most aspects and going independent by starting several companies which included raising 10.5 Million in Venture Capital for one of them.
