'I suppose every eager searcher after God's truth for the liberated life knows that the biblical key to opening the door lies in Paul's letter to the Romans, chapters 6-8.' So begins Norman Grubb's penetrating study into these pivotal chapters of the Bible. The author goes right to the heart of the frustration in the life of the believer--what is the problem and why doesn't the Christian life seem to work? He takes us step by step from Rom. 6 into the deep water of Rom. 7, revealing Paul's startling discovery of the satanic deception we all share from the Fall--that we are independent and manage our own lives--and his revelation of who we really are in Christ. Written in an engaging and readable style, this booklet makes plain the bold truths that, sadly, remain hidden from so many seekers after righteousness.
