About the Author:

The author holds a B.A. degree from Baylor University and a divinity degree as well as a doctorate in religious education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She served as Baptist Student Director and Bible teacher on several university campuses. While under appointment of the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention on the campus of UC, Berkeley, she was known as “a foreign missionary on home missions’ soil.” Her ministry to internationals continues to this day, although she is now an octogenarian.
