Writer's Digest Award Winning Author
On the heels of a nasty divorce, a dog trainer is blamed for her ex-husband's suspicious death. Evidence suggests that she programmed their shared guard dog to attack the prominent diet doctor, but did she? As the accused is being led off to jail, she begs her friend Ginger Barnes to save the German shepherd's life, an assignment that demands nothing less than the whole truth.

From the Author:
The research for this book was lots of fun.  I studied conflicting theories on how to lose weight-a large subject all by itself-visited a city ASPCA, observed a Schutzhund training session for guard dogs that was quite an eye-opener, attended a delightful  lure-coursing competition for sight-hounds, and heard some interesting  stories from my guide at a pet cemetery.  However, what I think readers will enjoy most about NO BONES ABOUT IT is the characters-and I do mean characters.
From the Back Cover:
The dog days of Bryn Derwyn Academy's summer holidays yawn ahead for Ginger Barnes--headmaster's wife, mother of two teenagers, and occasional detective.  But the tedium is soon shattered when Dr. Karl Vogel, an elite Philadelphia diet guru, is found dead right beside his bloody-mouthed German shepherd, Tibor.  And his ex-wife Linda--a dog trainer with whom he shared custody of this prized pet--is arrested for programming Tibor to be a lethal weapon.
Linda, denying everything, beseeches her old schoolmate Gin to save Tibor from being put down.  But who else would murder the good doctor?  To hunt down the killer, Gin must investigate snarling patients, animal activists, an assistant fired for getting fat, and the devious, deadly patterns of the human mind.
