Welcome to the magical world of bees! Melissa, a newborn bee, explores her cozy home and learns about the hive with her sisters, brothers and their beloved Queen. Everyone does their part with love in oneness. When she is old enough, Melissa summons her courage and ventures out into the big world, dancing with flowers and making new friends, as she revels in pollen collection for her family. When the hive becomes too crowded, the Queen honors Melissa by asking her to be a scout to help find a new home. While following Melissa's adventures, reader may glimpse at how bees cooperate and co-create, care for babies and the Queen, find nectar and pollen, communicate, make honey and protect themselves. Rich with endearing illustrations, this book weaves story, songs and images into a tapestry of joy, wonder and appreciation for the ancient lineage and loving service of the honey bees as they nurture and celebrate life.

Aimée Lissantheia nurtures, honors and celebrates life. Her early passion for dance led to decades of training, performing, teaching and choreographing with children and adults in New York and at Mount Holyoke College, where she received a BA in a self-designed major encompassing the history of art, dance, theater and costume. For another decade she designed luxury international interiors. Unexpectedly, she experienced a transformational rebirth that led her to a deeper calling. She explored experiential studies of the wisdom found in nature and women's mysteries, heart-based living and ancient bee practices. Today she inspires and empowers all to embody their highest expressions of love, inner truth and divine wholeness. She enjoys guiding women's sacred journeys privately and through group experiences and adventures. Aimée travels around the globe, as she brings forth her gifts of intuitive, elemental and sacred geometric dance while weaving a nourishing tapestry for the earth, much like the bees. She holds a vision for all children of the earth under the sun to harmoniously co-create in partnership with nature and to celebrate the preciousness of all life.
