Anthony Fitzpatrick is currently the Innovation Manager in the Division of Teacher and Leader Effectiveness for the New Jersey Department of Education. He is responsible for implementing policy and programs throughout the state as well as developing innovative ways to reward, recognize and capitalize on the high quality skills of New Jersey’s educators. Anthony is regularly tasked with providing high quality professional learning experiences across the state. A nationally acclaimed presenter and speaker, he has had the privilege of providing professional learning to over 1,000 school districts across the country. Prior to joining the New Jersey Department of Education; Anthony served as the Vice-President for Professional Development Services for the American Institute for History Education. In that role, he designed workshops and presentations for educators around the country. All of those experiences aside, Anthony’s true calling is as an educator; and is most proud of his time at the Kingsway Regional School District. There he taught United States, World, A.P. European histories as well as elective courses in Humanities, Public Policy and Political Science. He also served as the Curriculum and Technology Supervisor and the History Department Area Leader.
