About the Author

Janice M. Hughes is a keen ornithologist, an avid RV owner, and a Professor of Biology at Lakehead University. She is the author of numerous publications on birds, travel, crafting, and other subjects. Dr. Hughes lives in the boreal forest with her family and dogs.
