Synopsis

The fate of the world rests in the hands of a dirty cop. Danny Phelps is counting the five grand he just bullied off some low-level drug slingers when an enigmatic beggar appears out of nowhere and asks for a handout. After telling the bum to buzz off, Phelps is shaken to his core by visions of a mysterious underground base where eight-foot-tall reptilians are torturing and murdering a young woman and terrorizing caged kids. When Phelps flashes back to his young brother's dead eyes, it tears his guts up all over again. While working on a missing child case, the enigmatic man keeps appearing, each time in different guises. Phelps is unaware that the man's sudden appearances coincide with a massive explosion of divine light originating from the core of the galaxy, light which is now mutating Phelps' DNA so that he can evolve into the next generation human with enhanced strength, speed, senses, intellect and the uncanny ability to travel between dimensions. As Phelps is progressively evolving, he learns that he has been chosen to be mankind's leader against the child-sacrificing Reptilians and their human minions who have collectively infiltrated the highest echelons of power all across the globe. Danny Phelps sees he has a chance for redemption. First, he has to uncover the horrifying truths about human history and the nature of evil. Then confront the mind-bending secret of the enigmatic man's identity. And finally, he has to become the Renegade of Light, enter the fourth-dimension and take the fight to the Draco Empire enslaving mankind. Or die trying. Renegade of Light is a reality-based work of science fiction that takes the reader on a consciousness-expanding metaphysical journey, where mankind's fate rests on one man's redemption. If the Twilight Zone and Star Trek had drunken sex, this would be their love-child.

About the Author

Jason McLeod is a paranormal investigator who has spent the majority of his life delving into the hidden and mysterious secrets of the world under the careful guidance of none other than the legendary Ed and Lorraine Warren-the late pioneers of the modern ghost hunting craze that thrives to this day. The incredible phenomena McLeod had personally witnessed and experienced beginning with the very first case he had investigated on the Warrens' behalf in 1990 and on the many intriguing cases he had investigated alongside them that followed, allowed McLeod to begin to understand the true nature of the multidimensional reality that humanity and all life is an integral part of. While working with the Warrens and while attending Sacred Heart University, McLeod wrote the newspaper column 'Hauntings, ' which revealed the information he was learning from the Warrens and the intricate details about the cases that were currently under investigation at that time. After transferring to Washington State to finish his Creative Writing Degree, Lorraine Warren called McLeod and asked him to investigate a case in nearby Rathdrum, Idaho as the lead investigator on their behalf. The bizarre case was yet another synchronicity which enabled McLeod to meet an incredible group of psychics, visionaries and scientists-powerful lightworkers who became instant life-long friends, mentors and colleagues, people who enabled McLeod to expand his awareness and consciousness even further, to prepare him for the profound sojourn they were all undertaking together for the purpose of benefiting humanity. McLeod started writing his 'Hauntings' column for the Eastern Washington University Easterner Newspaper and formed the Northwest Society for Paranormal Research there in 1992, where he and his new colleagues revealed their vast collective knowledge to intrigued college students and to the general population at large in the Greater Spokane Area. Soon after, McLeod was inundated with personal letters received from people who were experiencing unexplained paranormal phenomena themselves, including, most remarkably, cases involving intelligent beings of an extraterrestrial nature. After investigating several of those cases personally, McLeod experienced a benevolent, awe-inspiring connection with a group of those same extraterrestrials himself, an event which changed the course and focus of his life completely. Today, McLeod conducts engaging presentations on radio blog broadcasts, at paranormal conventions, spirituality expositions, New Age events, libraries and lecture halls throughout the world, where he reveals his profound understanding that all things everywhere are part of a flawless, perfect, intelligent design. This has enabled him to bridge the gap between science and spirituality, to easily explain the paranormal through Quantum Physics, the Universal Laws of Attraction, Intention and Manifestation. When McLeod read Dennis E. Higgins' screenplay, Renegade of Light, he knew he had the perfect opportunity to use his accumulated esoteric knowledge and cinematic writing style to expand upon the information Dennis had presented in his original screenplay and write the perfect novel adaptation of the riveting information that the story delves into.

Dennis E. Higgins has devoted several years of his life earnestly studying the plethora of groundbreaking information revealed by some of the most respected and accomplished researchers in the fields of extraterrestrial civilizations and their involvement with the human species on earth. The information gleaned from these astounding men and women inspired Higgins to write the screenplay for an intriguing feature film, specifically and most importantly, the amazing material published in Barbara Marciniak's BRINGERS OF THE DAWN Teachings from the Pleiadians.
