Synopsis
Janice loved riding the train to Christmas Town. Every December her mother and father put her on the train with a small backpack filled with surprises. Ride along with Janice on a magical Christmas train. Janice worries about her grandmother, who usually rides with her, and wonders about the surprise that her mother prepared for her before the trip. She meets friends from the past, including Bumblebee the Polar Bear, Zephyr the cat, and two little mice named Bubble and Squeak. The reader participates in the surprise that is revealed at the end, as Janice realizes that some things never change! Featuring the artwork of Jeff Lee, best known for his video game art, the book will become a family favorite.

About the Author
Peggy Bullard Ellis is an elementary special education teacher who has written for Trains Magazine and rides Christmas trains year round. Her three children grew up with trains and were wonderful inspirations for this book. She grew up in Oklahoma and spends time in Illinois and Colorado, and truly believes that some things never change.
