This manual is for seekers wondering what happens during a psychotherapy and spiritual direction session. It is not intended as an instructional source for spiritual directors or psychotherapists. It is not a substitute for spiritual direction or psychotherapy. Rather, it is a work designed to introduce the seeker to the practical aspects of psychotherapy and spiritual direction by introducing them to the foundations of the work. It is intended merely too present some basic tools. The true work is accomplished in the face-to-face relationship of psychotherapy and spiritual direction during which these tools are employed as you walk the path of healing and wholeness.
