About the Author

Joyce McCartney in many ways is no different than you. Having grown up in a Midwestern family in a strong religious faith, she did not have unusual spiritual experiences as a child or exhibit unusual abilities. Yet, upon achieving midlife and experiencing many of the difficult times that anyone can and do have, she set her mind on the task of finding God. Using the life and work of Edgar Cayce as her guide, she explored the subtle states of mind that led to the awareness that all humans have two minds, one the Conscious Mind of everyday physical existence and the other the Higher Mind of the soul. Once in contact with the wise Higher Mind, she was taught how to achieve reliable and consistent contact with this Higher Mind and it family, The Great Oneness. And so, it was the Higher Mind spoke to her about the mysteries of the universe and how to find the Presence of God. She became convinced that this great guidance was and should be made available to everyone and wished to find a way to make it so. This book describes that task and the adventures that she uncovered.
