Fourteen years ago, Stanley Kovaleski quit on life and moved to an isolated cabin in the mountains of Montana. Among all else, he left his two children behind in the world he would no longer be a part of. Following a visit with his doctor, Stan learned that life was now quitting on him. As Stan headed towards home, he left all the glitter and displays of the Christmas Season behind. Years ago, Stan started treating Christmas as any other day or season. On the way home, in the early stages of a major winter snowstorm, Stan spots a young boy walking alone out from the woods. He takes the eight-year-old child to his cabin to provide warmth, shelter, food, and safety, until he can bring the boy to the proper authorities to assure his safe return. The boy seems to know more about Stan than he possibly should. As they remain trapped for a few days at Stan's cabin, the child begins to impact upon Stan's life and reintroduce him to the spirit of Christmas in a way that Stan never would have imagined. The Lost Boy (A Christmas Story) is the story of a Christmas miracle that will bring tears to your eyes, a smile to your face, and help usher the magic of Christmas into your own heart. Stanley Kovaleski stopped to rescue a young boy unaware that the child may well have been sent to rescue Stan.
