Despite a glaring lack of evidence after an exhaustive three year government investigation, PalTex senior executive C.B. Tiesman was indicted by ambitious prosecutors in 2009. Rogue Justice is the true story of one man's struggle against a Justice Department hell bent on convicting defendants regardless of their perceived innocence, guilt, intent, or harm caused. Told from the unique perspective of an embattled defendant, Mr. Tiesman shares his observations as he confronts each step of the criminal justice system. Rogue Justice offers a troublesome assessment of our Justice Department. Using his personal experience as a backdrop, C.B. Tiesman pulls the curtain back on prosecutors who routinely lie on the record, suppress evidence, and intimidate defense witnesses in an effort to score convictions at any cost. He explores DOJ's evolution from its statutory purpose to "pursue truth and justice" to its current insatiable thirst for self-perpetuation and expansion achieved via prosecutions and civil actions. Full of riveting drama and Mr. Tiesman's satirical humor, Rogue Justice shares his personal struggle to preserve his family, career, and freedom.
