Synopsis
El cuerpo que Dios me dio...begins this children's book that is intended to be used as a guide for parents to open a conversation with their young son or daughter about child sexual abuse prevention. A tear out information sheet is included for adults to better understand why it is important to talk to their child as early as four years old. Every page offers a question to ask the child and enhance understanding. This book is currently being used by the Rockford Diocese of Illinois for their Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten safe enviroment program.

About the Author
As a survivor of child sexual abuse, the author knew the importance of talking to her young children about prevention. The authors are mother and daughter and this story developed from their many conversations. Not being satisfied with educating only her children, Kristina shared the book with family and friends. This began Kristina's advocacy and she is now an Authorized Facilitator for Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children class, a TAALK (Talk About Abuse to Liberate Kids) Volunteer, and a Child Abuse Awareness Ministry Leader.
