About the Author

Dr. Marc Gafni received his doctorate from Oxford University. With philosopher Ken Wilber, he co-founded The Center for Integral Wisdom, a leading activist think tank dedicated to articulating a practical politics of love, and to catalyzing an emergent personal and global vision of ethics, eros and meaning. Gafni serves as President and Senior Scholar-in-Residence; Ken is the Integral "Pandit" of the Center. 

A rabbinic lineage holder in Bible, Talmud, and Kabbalah, Gafni self-describes as a "dual citizen" of both Integral World Spirituality and classical Hebrew practice. He is an editor of the Journal of Integral Theory and Practice on issues of Integral spirituality, has been a faculty member of J.F.K. University, and is the author of 10 books including the national bestseller Soul Prints, and The Mystery of Love, an exploration of the relationship between the erotic and the sacred. Gafni is the founder of Unique Self theory. 

Over the past 30 years, Dr. Gafni has developed evolutionary and activist educational and communal programs rooted his commitment to what he has termed "participating in the evolution of love".
