From the Author

For the past decade, I have been fascinated with all things bee related.  After I set up my first hive, I was often approached by friends or family who wanted help getting started keeping bees.  I loved helping them get started and watching the joy they experienced taking care of bees and reaping the sweet rewards.
After helping several dozen people get started with beekeeping, I decided to write this book.  My intention is to help the beginning beekeeper find the information they need to get started with this fantastic hobby.  In this book, you will find answers to what essential equipment you need to get started.  You will also find answers to common questions and learn how to properly care for your hives.
I certainly hope you find the same joy in beekeeping that I experience whenever I am working with my hives.
