This book is about two young boys, Jacob and Joseph, who live in Florida. One early morning their father reads them the story of Roberto Cofresi. The children learn he is a Puerto Rican hero, who once was revered as much as Robin Hood. The legend tells of the treasure he brought back to help the poor and less fortunate people of Puerto Rico. Some of the treasure Cofresi brought back had been hidden in caves and never found.
