For years I've been thinking about my teenage years, growing up on the Florida beaches. A lot happens during one's young adult years. Lots happened during mine, and all on the beaches of Florida, where, yes, I was a surf bum, as were most of my friends. In Shark Man I've revisited that terrain creating a cast of characters to help me explore my many and often unusual--even dangerous--experiences.
