A personal account of growing up during the idealistic 1950's and 1960's is provided through true stories about people who use wit, half-wit and a sense of adventure to tackle life's challenges. Hilarious failures and uplifting successes illustrate how everyday activities provide people with opportunities to paint their lives brightly and boldly.

Randall Bresee was born after World War II in the midst of a national resurgence of hope, optimism and renewal. His parents encouraged the nine family children to be smart and have free minds. Those traits served Randall well during his thirty years as a college professor where he contributed insight to compelling issues such as image formation on the Shroud of Turin. Since retirement Bresee has enjoyed writing and living life colorfully and boldly.
