About the Author

Dr. Granville M. Sawyer, Jr., is a professor of finance and director of the MBA Program at Bowie State University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Cum Laude, and his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Tennessee. He earned his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. He wrote College in Four Years because his passion as an educator, mentor and motivator is to ensure that every student who has the will to earn a college degree finds the support they need along the way.
