Claudio Palomares Salas nació en la Ciudad de México. Ha vivido en Montreal y Toronto desde el 2001. Es escritor, músico y académico, y ha participado en una gran variedad de proyectos artísticos interdisciplinarios, así como en grabaciones y giras internacionales con diversos artistas (Ecos de Portoalegre, Intakto, Gabino Palomares, Alejandra Ribera, Zuruba, entre otros). En 2013, recibió su doctorado en estudios hispánicos por la Universidad de Toronto y actualmente es profesor visitante en la universidad de Trent.
