He has consulted with a wide range of organizations including owner-managed businesses, major corporations, governments and NGOs, not-for-profits and professional associations.Gerry is an accomplished speaker and facilitator and he shares his deep experience by conducting keynote speeches and workshops for professional groups, industry associations, not-for-profit groups, universities and companies. His talks are engaging, practical, and rooted in real-life experiences.He has written widely on careers, on managing people and leadership for professional publications and he blogs regularly on these topics. He is host of the cable TV series Take This Job and Love It.Prior to founding his firm, Gerald Walsh Associates, Gerry worked in several industry sectors including manufacturing, technology and financial services. He is a professional accountant (CPA,CMA) and holds an MBA degree.While Gerry has many volunteer and community interests, his passion is long distance running. He is the founder of the Blue Nose Marathon in Halifax, Nova Scotia, has completed more than 25 full and half marathons and in his lifetime has run more than 30,000 miles.
