Synopsis

About the Author

Suzanne Hills sailed the Patagonian channels of South America and across the Pacific Ocean with her first mate and Yanmara, ship's cat in 2014. From a hard start as a stray in Patagonia, Yanmara has now had a life of sailing adventures with the author. She has clocked up more than 18,000 nautical miles under her paws: almost the equivalent of a circumnavigation. Yanmara - along with the author - is a landlubber once again and lives in a tiny house on the west coast of New Zealand.
