It's hilarious and the characters are each different in personality but all play an important role throughout the story. HAD to know what was going to happen. Felt that all the books had finally 'tied' everything up - literally and metaphorically... This would make an amusing television series. The little nods to things from the Seventies were a great touch, with just enough to make you cast your mind back fondly without overwhelming you with cheesy nostalgia. Not chick lit. Not pure comedy. Not romance. Not crime. But a delicious mixture of all those genres. 5-STARSLoved this series and this book tied up everything nicely. The humor and wit throughout the book was delightful and I was laughing out loud a few times. About the Author:

Andrene's love of writing was instilled in her by her mother, although if her mum was still alive, she'd be smacking Andrene across the back of the head given the direction some of her writing has taken. The series explores the wild ride the seventies was for anyone lucky enough to be young and single during this craziest of decades. Imagine a mash up between Sex in the City and That Seventies Show and you're half way there. Andrene's currently working on a cozy paranormal mystery series about Frankie B, a jinxed witch with Bruce Lee moves and Dex, her Jack Russell familiar. Brenda is the no-nonsense character in That Seventies Series and in book three we really get to know her. After a bereavement in Australia and trusting her inheritance with a wrong 'un, Brenda flees to England to move back in with returning character, Eadie. This is where the story really starts. I enjoyed the setting of Eadie's London home with its many rooms and the characters; from Flo the speedy charlady to Justin... what is he? Brenda now has to earn a living at the same time as dealing with Eadie's nemesis Wallace. There is a possible promise of romance, but ends with something better - independence!
