Synopsis
Mardious and Amelia are partners in crime. They steal from the rich and give to the poor by using innovative wizard potions, manipulating mythical creatures, and summoning power from magical artefacts.
Growing up in the Badlands, Mardious has only known a life of poverty, corruption, and violence. His community is isolated from the rest of the realm, and his survival has been dependent on keeping a low profile. But his partner, Amelia, wants to make a change. She yearns for their home to be prosperous and well-respected. She wants to balance the scales.
Loyal to Amelia, Mardious aims to see her dream come true. By living in the shadows, using their unique skillsets, and identifying vulnerable targets, he develops a crooked plan to make it happen. Their stolen riches provide food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, and hope for the uninspired.
Their quest for money, power, and equality is challenging, but they understand that chasing their dream comes at a price. What they don't realize is how much it will actually cost.

About the Author
T.K. Riggins is the author of the fantasy series How To Set The World On Fire. Originally from the Midwest, he grew up in a small city where handshakes seal deals, friendships last a lifetime, and hard work pays off. After moving to the west coast, his career took flight. His BSc in Mechanical Engineering opened the door for technical writing, but he quickly shifted gears to write fiction instead.
