About the Author

Margaret Chandler is a teacher, writer, and editor. She teaches business writing, grammar, style, and editing at the University of Calgary and Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta. Through her company, Green Fuse, she also delivers communication workshops to public, non-profit, and for-profit organizations. She has written or edited feature articles, proposals, curriculum, newsletters, speeches, and much more. She's also been a magazine editor, a teacher in West Berlin, a CBC radio columnist, and a special advisor to a college president. She loves sharing her passion for language and has helped thousands of people-from engineers to romance writers to translators-become better writers. Great book for improving business writing skills. This book is an easy-to-read business writing guide if you're looking for a business writing resource that's going to answer a lot of questions. I really liked all the examples, and the exercises (with answers) were a real bonus. Lots of great advice, and I liked the author's conversational tone. I will keep this handy at the office. GG
