About the Author
Dr. Miner founded Health Quest Chiropractic in 2003 in Albuquerque, New Mexico with the vision of changing the culture of healthcare worldwide. He has helped to create an institution at Health Quest that is first and foremost an educational facility, and secondly a center for healing. His purpose is to help revolutionize health care during a time of incredible change and instability within the industry. Rather than focusing on the prevention and treatment of disease, the Health Quest approach is focused on helping a person s body express true optimal health so that a person can better fulfill their life s purpose. Health Quest provides people with direct access to affordable chiropractic care centered around the wellness lifestyle. Dr. Velasquez is here today because the chiropractic adjustment literally restoredhis life. His amazing story of recoveryfrom a coma paved the way for his career and inspired him to help othersreach optimal health. Dr. Velasquez received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of New Mexico. He earned a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. During his post-graduate work he also participated in an international study program that sent him to Mexico City to work at the clinic of the Universidad Estatal del Valle de Ecatepec. Today, Dr. Velasquez is the clinic director for Health Quest Albuquerque Acres and has been voted Best Chiropractor in the City by Albuquerque The Magazine.
