About the Author

Vincentia Schroeter, PhD, has practiced psychotherapy for over forty years, specializing in addictions, attachment and Bioenergetic Analysis. She has written extensively on somatic psychotherapy and has been published in professional journals and books. She co-wrote Bend Into Shape: Techniques for Bioenergetic Therapists with co-author Barbara Thomson in 2011. She is on the international faculty of the IIBA, teaching Bioenergetics locally and around the world. Her studies in self-psychology, affect regulation and interpersonal neurobiology have influenced her counseling methods.
