About the Author

Born in Connecticut, Peggy Gaffney has wanted to write since she took her first creative writing course at the age of twelve taught by a Yale professor where she was the only child in the class. But it has been her fifty year love affair showing Samoyed dogs which inspired her to create her Kate Killoy Mystery series of suspense novels for the dog lover. Her many generations of Samoyeds have taught her to love their smiles and to live with tons of shedding hair. Her main character Kate is a knitting designer who shows dogs, two things the author is very familiar with since she's also published ten knitting books mostly for dog lovers and continues to run around the show ring with her Samoyed Dillon pictured below showing below as a puppy at the National.
